As of February 2013, TDC has partnered with Save Our Streams Pa. and Public Herald to inform the public about the construction of a waste water treatment plant slated at the headwaters of Ludington Run, an EV watershed* and main tributary to the Genesee River headwaters. *Pennsylvania Dept. of Environmental Protection informed TDC on February 12th that this is an Exceptional Value watershed. On Valentine’s Day, two days later, PADEP called back to say they were mistaken, the watershed is actually High Quality (HQ), a lesser designation.
